Ryviews Deal Roundup - June 26th, 2014

Hi Everybody!

Here are the deals for June 26th, 2014:
The Humble Bundle this week is Frogwares <3 Ukraine, featuring several Sherlock Holmes games, Two Dracula games, and 4 other titles. It's a big bundle this week.

Xbox Live Games with Gold is still Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV Arcade.

You can read my review of Charlie Murder here, and you can read my review of Super Street Fighter IV Arcade here.

For both games, I definitely recommend downloading them (because they're free) but I also say try them out and if you don't like them, delete them so they stop hogging space on your Xbox. You can also reinstall them later if you want to.

For Deals with Gold, Ryse is 17% on Xbox One, and on 360 several Lego Titles are between 33%-75% off, so if you're missing any from your collection now would be a good time to stock up.

Amazon has 2 amazing deals going right now (they're also on Steam for the same prices). Payday: The Heist is only $1.49 (93% off) and Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY is only $4.99 (75% off). They're both for PC downloads, but for those prices it's pretty worth it even if you aren't much of a PC gamer.

On iOS, True Skate, Dark Lands, and Captain America: The Winter Solider are all free.

If you've been keeping up with my daily Steam Summer Sale posts, you'll know that I've been trying to highlight some of what I consider to be the best games offered. Here are the Steam daily highlights:

Civilization V

I'm not a huge fan of the civilization series personally, but I would never question their quality. And at only $7.49, this game is definitely a good bargain. Top notch graphics, state of the art strategy, and a whole lot of ways to conquer the map.

Total War Rome II

I've never played this sequel, but the first Rome: Total War is one of my favorite games of all time. This is still pretty new and it's only down to $20.37, but if you're a fan of tactical strategy with a hint of economics and Risk, this game will probably blow your socks off (if you are indeed wearing socks).

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Similar to Total War, I've played some of the previous entries in the series but I've never played this one. Obviously, if it involves sneaking around, building leaping, AND shooting at people from a pirate ship, that can only be fun, right? It's down to $19.99, and I'd imagine if you're a fan of the series, this is a game you'll want to pick up.

I hope I saved you some money!

Until next time,

Ryan
