The San Diego Comic-Con is now behind us, but that doesn't mean that we've forgotten about it already.
Sure, sure, most of the news is about movies, not video games, so it's not really relevant to the site, and of course, most of the news also didn't really cover comics so much as "comic related properties" so even the name "Comic-Con" is a little far fetched.
At any rate, here's what I'm excited about:
Deadpool
Anyone who knows the character from the comics will probably be jumping for joy after seeing the footage. Not only was there some 4th wall breaking, but there was self aware zany humor, fun action, and some absolutely filthy jokes.
I definitely still had some tripidation for this movie before this footage. Now, I'm just super excited for what's to come.
Vixen
Cool.
I hadn't really heard much about this before Comic-Con. Now I absolutely can't wait until we see the finished product. It's shaping up to be a pretty cool show.
Star Wars
Comic-Con didn't really change my opinion about much, but you have to admit, The Force Awakens is getting hyped to all hell. And embarrassingly, it's working. I'm super excited, and I'm really getting caught up in the buzz. New characters, old characters, Peter Mayhew...it all spells one thing: $$$ (Although, strictly speaking, those are symbols, so I don't know if it's really called "spelling").
Also Battlefront.
